so I saw the guy's review that said "I expected these to be cheap." So again, I knew what I was getting into when I bought these.
What I didn't expect was that the item would be so unbelievably cheap that it wouldn't even pass for its function.
1st: Your item will arrive broken. All three of mine did. (One severely, the other two just chipped away, so they were workable for the day that I needed them.) Even with the football field's worth of plastic packaging (the inflatable bag protective packaging) these items still were in terrible shape when they arrived. (And they're not even heavy, so I don't know how they got this banged up.)
2nd: This is not even a frame. It is the flimsiest piece of corrugated cardboard ever, plus a broken piece of acrylic, and four plastic "edges." They are basically elongated versions of those plastic spines they make for homework report covers. You just slip them over the edge of the acrylic and the cardboard, so that makes it easy to assemble, and easy for them to slip out of place and look all wonky.
3rd: Because of the flimsy and uneven nature, the poster doesn't even remotely lie flat under the acrylic. It looks like I soaked my poster because of all the wrinkles, when in fact it came straight from the printer and is on a heavy 32 pound bond paper.
Lame. Don't even bother with this product.
Fine QualityJuly 15, 2010 cuff The plastic cover for the frame was cracked along the edges, but the edges are covered by the black holders anyway, so it made no difference. The box was in good shape, with plenty of those plastic air bubbles to prevent shipping damage. The frame hangs solidly on my wall using a single nail or screw. I(t fits a 24x36" poster very nicely.
Bottom line: If I had to by another poster frame, I would choose this one.

I just wanted a nice and cheap frame so my bare poster wouldn't be on the wall just like that so I bought this frame cuz it was quite inexpensive. It was very easy to put my poster in the frame and it gave the poster a bit of elegance. I suggest u buy this frame at Target though so u won't have to pay for shipping and handling.
worth every pennyJune 28, 2010 kaminwe I had a poster i was about to throw away b/c it was creased and worn and a little torn up around the edges, and i bought this as a last resort to save the poster i payed for, and it worked wonders. my poster looks brand new and the frame is lightweight and was super easy to put the poster into. I would highly recommend this!!!
